Eleven players of Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK), which will make its Indian Premier League debut this season, slugged out in a training camp under the watchful eyes of Australian coach Geoff Lawson. Among those who took part in the camp today were R P Singh, Ravidra Jadeja, Ramesh Powar and Vinay Kumar. Kerala Ranji Captain Raiphi Vincent Gomez and his team member P Prashant also participated. V V S Lakshman and Parthiv Patel, who are also in the team will be joining later.
The team's seven players, including Captain Mahela Jayewardene, S Sreesanth, Brendon McCullum, Muthiah Murlitharan, are representing various teams in the ongoing World Cup. KTK's first match is scheduled to be held on April 9 at Kochi against Roayal Challengers, Bangalore.
